This spring the Ohio State Patrol intends to increase efforts to bust drivers for drunk driving or operating a vehicle while impaired in Franklin County, as well as in the rest of central Ohio. An article in the Columbus Dispatch, March 2, 2011, relates that "as people get out to celebrate the warmer spring months, the patrol will work with other law-enforcement agencies throughout the state to set up sobriety checkpoints and watch for violations that lead to crashes, such as speeding, swerving and following too closely, said Lt. Tony Bradshaw, a patrol spokesman."
